Sugar Free Nutty Chocolate Brownie
I never really had a sweet tooth, but since I've been banting, out of nowhere I've developed a craving for chocolate. Weird right?
My snack of choice was always chips or gummy sweets, but chocolate? Not even when I was hungry. Now though, I'm spending more money than I really should be on a weekly supply of Lindt 85% cocoa chocolate. Go figure.
3/4 Cup Almond Flour
3 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1/3 Cup Xylitol
1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
Pinch of Salt
Handful of Assorted Nuts
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1/4 Cup Butter, Melted
Mix up all of the dry ingredients together. Then add to that mixture all of the wet ingredients.
Whisk until all of it is combined. Pour into a small baking dish/pan.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes or until the brownie stops "jiggling".
Be careful not to overcook the brownies as they can dry out quickly.
